Nice campground for 22.00. Showers aren't the nicest, but not bad. Showers are 5.00 for non campers. Some sites have electric. Got in late and got a tent site facing the lake, saw a fox when I pulled in, and another in my site as I was getting out of my car. Would definitely stay again.

“Nice USFS camp”

As others have written the campground no longer has an trees do to beetle kill (thirty years from now the campground will again be in a nice small forest).

sites are simple. those on the ridge have electric & water ($28). all others are basic. mostly flat gravel pads. site lengths must be considered. very long rigs will have problems fitting and backing into camp site.

view of the lake and the surrounding hills & mountains is great (note: no trees).

if you have a boat the launch ramp is good with a courtesy dock.

bathrooms are basic. most have showers (very basic).

VERY popular location. reservations are recommended for weekdays and pretty much required on weekends. limited number of 'walk up' sites.

found the camp hosts universally helpful.

NOTE: campground is managed by private party, American Land and Leisure, not USFS.

“Stillwater Campground”

There are mostly small trees due to beetle kill. The sites are well spaced but watch the length is reserving. There is no space to the side in most sites for an extra vehicle.

We only saw electric available at a few sites and at the camp hosts sites. The camp hosts near us (we were at #87) were great and seemed to be always available. We had No Hook-ups. But water is available spigot.

It is very windy here. And a strong storm came up for a few hours 2 out of the 7 days we were here. Otherwise it was beautiful & in the low to mid-70s during the day.

The roads & sites are hard surfaced. We are 52ft. total length w/ truck & 5th-wheel. We had a tight fit but lots of space with a picnic table, grill & a place for a tent.

We paid $11/night with Senior passes. You have to buy a National Forest Pass too. This was new to us two years ago but the Senior Pass works for this fee pass.
