“Can't give a favorable review”

We stayed here for several months. It is a beautiful park.
The owners have made some great upgrades and take very good care of the park. The salt water pool upgrade is wonderful and the bathrooms and showers are the cleanest you will find anywhere.
However... I can not give my recommendation. In the 10 years of travel and the many places we have stayed for my husband's employment in the US, the current owners are the most difficult we've encountered. They are and will be, the park's down fall. This is the first park in 10 years we will leave and not look forward to stopping back to see and spend time with the owners ever again. They were super to work with before we came. They seemed happy to welcome us in, however it quickly became all about the nickles and dimes. We paid every month on-time, took very good care of their site, cleaned up after our dogs as well as cleaning up after others. We were respectful and obedient tenants. We were friendly with others in the park, and tried to socialize with the owners as well as their two adult sons at every opportunity. The youngest son was friendly and helpful, the owners were less than social unless they had an ulterior motive. At the end of our stay, they even asked us to leave so they could accommodate a group of men coming into the area. We are sad to leave this negative review, but feel it's important to inform our full time and work traveling families. You will see many favorable reviews from short stay people. The owners seem great at first glance. Oh, and be very careful where you park. There is a parking area where you will get charged and they are very selective as to what they feel is grass and who they are going to call out for parking wrong. You will get a nasty email. The owners do not come around to just to show themselves friendly and their grown kids are constantly on their computer games and streaming movies instead of out helping to care for the park.
We are sorry you feel you were treated unfairly during your 13 month stay. If you truly felt this way, why did you stay? When you checked in, you signed an agreement which listed our policies and rules. These included but were not limited to: Don’t park on the grass, all guest must register at office and pay the guest fee, don’t park or allow guest to park on unoccupied sites, satellite dishes must be placed on gravel areas and all pets must be on a leash. You, at some point, violated all of these and we didn’t even mention some of them to you. I don’t believe we are selective about who we enforce the rules with. Even our overnight guest are not permitted. We never charge for parking unless you exceed the number of allowed vehicles, which doesn’t include guest vehicles. The guest fee is not a parking fee nor do we charge your guest for parking. We even allowed you to put up a fence, even though that was against our policy. You accused me of stealing a package that was delivered. This may not have been your intent but it came across that way. Only when we refused to sign for deliveries did you tell us that it was an error in delivery. At that time, we mentioned some of the other issues. You got highly upset and that is when you stopped coming to the office. Prior to, you were in office every day, at least to check your mail. We set up social events for all guest in the campground and not once did you participate, so we don’t quite understand the comments about being unsociable or only sociable with ulterior motives. And yes, because you didn’t commit to how long you were staying, we did ask you to leave by a certain date. With what happened with the jobs, we couldn’t accept “Maybe” this long or “Possibly” this long. We had to make a business decision. It was unfortunate that we had to make that decision prior to you making up your minds. We explained that and I agreed it wasn’t handled appropriately and apologized directly to the husband for that. We try to learn from every review and do better. Unfortunately, in our opinion, this review is not for anything we did wrong but a misconception that you were treated different from all others who stay here whether it be extended stay or overnight. But we will take this review onboard and ensure we enforce all the rules all the time and not allow any deviations whatsoever. And the list of written rules will increase so there are no misconceptions. Thank you very much for your comments.

“Great RV Park”

We've stayed here twice now.

We like it a lot.
Clean restrooms
Friendly owners
Laundry is good

A very nice place to stay over.

Great place to stay nice pool friendly people usually stop there for one night layover will be back

“Best ma & pa campground ever!”

It started when l called ahead to find out what to do for late check in. I told them we would probably be 830ish and we neede d to stop at Walmart for supplies. Told us not to go to the one closest on the map but go to Spartanburg because it was easier on and off with an RV and it was. The office closed at 8, when we arrived at 845 the owners were sitting on the porch waiting for us, hopped in the golf cart and showed us to the spot, and pointed out where our electric and water were(it was getting kinda dark) said have a good night and rode off. THE BATHROOMS ARE AMAZING! Cleanest I have ever seen. The pool had to close for about an hour at 645p one night due to storms and several groups wanted to swim. Instead of slapping the closed sign back up in 15mins at 8p when the rules said it closed, the owners hung out until about 9p and let everyone enjoy their beautiful pool for a bit. It was an excellent campground and I would recommend it to anyone!

“Clean clean clean!”

Perfect for an overnighter. Has pool, playground, fenced dog yard that has no odors, bathroom/showers spotless and updated. Gravel pad and grass sites. Good internet. Just not near places of interest for us but great for resting overnight.

“Great overnight stay”

Perfect for overnight layover. Owners were easy to work with. Smaller park, easily accessible from interstate. Close but not too much road noise. Gravel lots, somewhat level. Clean updated restrooms and showers. Daughter enjoyed swimming pool. Quite neighbors. Would stay again.

“Nice Campground ”

This really wasn't a stop we had planned to stay for more than 1 night, but next time through we will definitely stay longer. Very quiet and peaceful here. Dog friendly, and the grounds are very well kept. Dirt pads, but nice and level. Wish I would have known about this place before. We stayed in a 43 ft 5th wheel. Site 39 rocks.

This place is great, very nice owners and a awesome campground

Close proximity to I-26 and can handle lg. rigs. Gravel sites and adequate for overnight stay. Accommodating staff, easy access for our lg. 5th. Would stay again for overnight. Thought price was a bit high for what we ended up getting. Water pipe frozen and impossible to get advertised wifi. No one around in morning before we left at 9:30, therefore no one to discuss problems.
