“Mediocre”

Nice lake. Piers and bathrooms need repairs. Grass was high. They charge their RV campers to bring their own kayak. So far they don't charge for your bike. Positives quiet, some shade, many of the staff are friendly. Staff appears rattled during busy times unable to multitask and give phone call they same attention as those in line. Over all close and ok for a weekend stop.

“Great Campground ”

But, our three neighbors played LOUD music until 2:00AM! NO security at all. Only one employee who has to collect the garbage and mow the whole place. He said it takes four days just to do the mowing and then there's still the weedeating to do.
This is a very pretty place but if some thing are not taken care of quickly I can see it going down quickly.

“Awesome Campground”

Love it!!! Peaceful and quiet. A nice family campground with great sites and great views. Staff is courteous and willing to help you with anything you need. Campsites are spread out far enough to where you have your privacy. Fishing, hiking, frisbee golf and canoeing are fantastic. Only negative is the sugar ants during the summer months but not worth lowering my rating.

“Go-to CG”

Been camping the NOLA area entire life. This remains one of the best CGs within a 2 hour drive for a great weekend getaway. Beautiful lake for swimming, boating & fishing. Great to bike ride plus frisbee golf course, zip lines and frequent "festivals". Nice firework display during our last stay. Full hook ups and gigantic picnic areas & fields. Sites are nicely wooded so you don't usually see your neighbors.

Very beautiful campground, nice shady sites, good fishing, and have other things to do as well! Cabins, bungalow's, a zip line! Only complaint is that the bathrooms need updating, the doors don't lock. They are clean, but just need some maintenance done! This is one of our favorite campgrounds!
