“Nice Stay”

We had a pleasant experience camping at Lake Manchaug. Lake is clean, great boating and swimming. Quite at night and clean grounds. We had quite a different experience than the last review here. Owners were very accommodating, both were nice people. Bill delivered our firewood right to our site instead of having to unload and go back for it… was given free donuts by his wife upon departure Sunday morning. My son caught a small bass during our stay too, added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing atmosphere. Also looked into the last reviewer because our family couldn’t feel more different than their review. He/she must be very hard to please; out of 9 campgrounds they visited, they gave 1 star to 7 of them paired with not so nice things to say as well. Good luck to em.

This is one of those moments that you just say no. The owners wife is a total c word. They are rude. They are not big rig friendly !! They will not let you walk your dog. There is a lake but you can not get to it. Only a small area to swim lol not really swim but stand in the water because its like a 15 foot by 15 foot area. A joke by all standards for swimming. We felt like we were being stalked by the owners wife. She was rude to our guest and questioned him when we stopped at the office to pay 10 dollars for his over night stay. I have approximately 300 dollars in damage to our truck because of all the crap falling out of the trees. This is truly a place we wished we never went to. They drive a tractor with blowers on it. Its loud and your equipment is covered in crap when they are done. They did not have 50amp when I got there. We had to wait for it to be remedy. You pay alot for nothing but harassment and dirt. I was told by the people who stay there yearly that she is rude to all the women that come there. So save yourself the one down the road kings is way better.
