Rat population is high which brings snakes. Fishing is poor since the drought. Park staff are not very nice . Beach area is gross!! Bathrooms have wasps. Stickers everywhere! Never going back. Sad place

“Prairie Dog Heaven”

Nice park with spacious, level sites. We reserved online, and paid for the site, but still had to "reregister by 9am", which were reminded of by a visit at 10am,to pay our 3/person park use fee.Strange...
Prairie dogs were fun.

“Great Place that is out of the way!”

Really enjoyed our stay. Wide sweeping areas for your RV, level sites, covered tables and quiet! Enjoyed the prairie dogs and the sites! Would recommend and will return if this way again.

“Arrowhead SP”

Love this place. Been struggling around here for the past few years due to record drought but full of water now. Great place for family camping.

“Ground hogs and oil wells”

It is a very nice park with the large wide open spaces, electric and water. dump station, Level gravel pads. Clean and well kept. Lots of groundhogs to keep it interesting and picnic tables that are covered. Have some oil wells out here that are running on old one cylinder one Lunger engines you don't see those much except in museums that alone is worth the trip.

“Blair Witch State Park”

Went there last spring break after we were evacuated out of Palo Duro Canyon due to fires. This was the only state park in North Texas with availability. All the trees looked dead and the lake was almost totally dry. Only good part was Prairie Dog Town.
