“Great overnight”

FH great place. Grocery on one side and restaurant on the other. Across the street gas.
Stayed: 11/18/17 to 11/21/17

“What A Wonderful "Refuge"”

Needed a few days off the road to escape the bitter cold that came through and try to recover from the flu. What a great find and so glad I pushed through from RV-unfriendly Albuquerque.

Fortunately they weren't busy and had plenty of spots.

First, this is just a walled, graveled/dirt lot - it's not like a resort.

BUT, for $11.38 a night (this includes tax) you get FULL hookups, a shower voucher for each day of your stay for the travel center across the street (I never used them but if the bathrooms are any indication they should be nice), strong wifi, and are in close proximity to a nice grocery store, the casino (you can get a beer in the American Diner), and the travel center which has a DQ, gifts, and the usual sundry of stuff. They keep it clean -
ie trash bins emptied daily. Nice laundry facilities in the office, propane on the way out, and I even saw a post office on the other side of the grocery store. The grocery store also has several aisles of hardware store supplies and a deli. I didn't think any of the prices out there - maybe a little more expensive than Walmart, but nothing that had me running for the hills.

On top of that the people I came in contact with were all friendly - in the RV park office, Brianna was helpful, ensuring I had all my needs taken care of, and Sheldon was super friendly.

There's even a nice long paved sidewalk for walking down towards Paraje but like so many places I've found out west the sand spurs are murder on a doggies paws. There is some grass on the casino entrance but please be sure to pick up so it stays nice...

Oh, I did notice the lack of doggie bags - no stations and couldn't find them to buy in the grocery store or travel center. Not the end of the world, what else are plastic grocery bags good for, but seems an oversight.

The days I was there they were spreading gravel to keep the spaces nice and I guess there were anywhere from six to twelve other rigs there. Some were just coming through, others looked a little long term. But as a solo female traveler I never felt anything but safe walking the dog and taking care of things.

So thumbs up, and thank you Dancing Eagle.

“Great value - safe, clean fenced lot!”

Looking for a quick overnight stop - at $11.38 for FHU, this was a great find and a great value! Sheldon was more than welcoming and friendly. Security patrols the lot at night. Nice market with varied selections and fresh produce - also has a large hardware section. EVERYONE was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

“Thank you Dancing Eagle”

Yes, this is a gravel lot, which could get sloppy in the rain. But, they have created a nice convenient little Oasis here. It is an amazing value for $11.38. Everyone was very polite, welcoming, and appreciative of our business. The casino was as smokey and as clean as any others. We played slots for 30 mins., and walked away with all of our money and a $5 discount on fuel at their station across the street.
Stayed: 06/24/17 to 06/25/17

“A good casino RV park”

We stayed one night only and that was enough. It is very convenient to I/40 and with a very low price of $11.00.
It is a nice casino and has a wonderful nearby grocery with nice, friendly and helpful employees in both the casino and the grocery.
The drawbacks were the gravel parking lot, close and tight sites. The bathroom at the RV area is only open during office hours . There is no shower onsite, but you are issued a shower voucher to use at the travel center across the street.
It is a fun place to stop for a night or two if you want to enjoy the casino .

The last review is incorrect. It's for another casino.
This RV Park is nice. It is a gravel area. There are only 5-6 pull thrus. The rest are back in. The cost is 11.36 a night. They have washer/dryers as well. Short walk over to the casino. Very nice grocery store next door that gives a discount for 55+. Also there is no tax. If you have time the Acoma Pueblo The Sky City culture center is very interesting. It's about 12 miles from the RV Park. The staff is very friendly. If you arrive when they are closed there is an envelope to register yourself.

“Now Sky City Casino and Hotel. Wonderful”

Beautiful desert vistas. Very close to Sky City Cultural center. Overnight at RV park gets free use of outdoor pool, business center and fitness center at the hotel. Nice package deal for 1 night stay, 2 buffet breakfasts at hotel, 2 lunches at Cultural Center, 2 admissions to Cultural Center and museum, saves $30. Gamblers looked happy. All pull through sites with full hook ups. Level and long, gravel. Private bathroom, 2 sinks and tiled shower in 2 shower rooms each, men's and women's. Looks like LUXURY hotel bathroom. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

“Nice little park”

This park is good for a night or more. Campground offers full-hook up pull thru & back-in sites. Water pressure is very good, sites level & gravel. Satellite friendly. WiFi is a little spotty, as I think it comes from the casino.

Close enough to the Dancing Eagle Casino. There is even a walkway with a gate to open to go over.

The area near here is beautiful & worth a little drive. Especially the 12 miles down to the Acoma Pueblo.

Price was right at $11.36 / night.

Would definitely stay here again if in area.

“Nice stopover spot.”

Everyone seems to agree. This is a good overnight resting spot. With a Player's Card you pay $10 instead of $20, laundry when office is open. Short half block walk out through the gate and you are in the casino. Will stay when drive through again.
Stayed: 06/07/16 to 06/08/16

Flat patch of gravel behind a block wall. Typical casino.
Full facilities but nothing special. OK for a night off the road

One of the better stops on this trip. Nice fenced yard with security guard, good casino, good restaurant, store within walking distance. The $10 hook up fee was won back in about ten mins at the slots. Might stay a few days.

This is our 3rd stay here. $10 per nite for full hookup and good WiFi. No cable TV but we pick up about 15 channels and did not even put up our antenna! Casino is nice and they have a good, reasonably priced restaurant.

We have stayed here before and its good for overnight. Close to I40 but only heard the train whistle Prices just went up to $20.00per night unless you get the players card and then it drops to10.00.

This location had about full hookup sites. We arrived about 7:30 pm. There was a sign that told us to fill out paperwork and place $10 in the envelope and drop in slot. This was a grave and pebble lot. Very little lighting but it was a short walkable distance to the casino. We would probably stay again.
Stayed: 11/01/14 to 11/02/14

“Perfect overnight spot”

Nice overnight stop. 5 pull thru spots.
Grocery store in walking distance. $10 for full hook ups if you get the casino players card (free). Would come back again.

Nice overnight stop. $10/nite. FHU. Gas/diesel across the road. Grocery store next door (pricey). Casino thru the gate.
Stayed: 10/08/14 to 10/08/14

“Great overnite stop”

Great place for an overnite stop on I40. $10 for the nite, full hookup, and gas station across street has cheapest gas around.
