“Great place but be home early!”

We stayed 6 nights at site 61 and it was a great place. However we were there for a wedding and got back late gate closes at 10 so we had to park at entrance and walk to our site. River access is superb.

Beautiful park with river access. We were here the last week of August and the park was almost empty (mid week). The campground is well maintained with many trees as well as open spaces. Camp hosts and ranger are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed picking the blackberries throughout the park.

“Excellent!”

Level sites with water and 50 or 20 amp service. Great bathrooms and showers, nice access to the river. Really, really nice staff, especially the great lady who gave us some homemade blackberry pie.

“Beautiful park”

Great park. Just called and was told it will be $26. One negative, In the summer, a lot of rowdy river floaters with coolers of beer have made the news out here. We camped there several times several years ago and for the most part, it's a beautiful campground. You have your choice of East or West campground (one is woodsy and shaded, but the first one you come to on the left is not if memory serves, but it has a pond and is newer. Close Clackamas River, though you will want to take a car and not walk on the road if the river floaters are out in force, plus it's a little steep.

In the second campground, the one on your right, past the first one, there is a large grassy area and play area in the middle, so perhaps more child-friendly.
